The Ministry of Defense has consented to an arrangement with the Local Government Division to set up a programmed climate station in 200 upazilas for exact figure.
The understanding was marked at the neighborhood government division meeting room in the Secretariat on Tuesday.
To set up a horticultural based meteorological observatory utilizing the upazila parishad's territory, just 220 square feet will be required.
Nearby Government Division's Senior Secretary SM Golam Faruk and Defense Secretary Akhter Hossain Bhuiyan consented to the arrangement.
